Good morning friends. Today is an almost cruelly beautiful day. The bluest sky I’ve seen in a month, and just a little chilly. I can’t imagine a more perfect day to go to a park. The sun is warm but not too warm.

Everything is beautiful. Of course we can’t enjoy a day like this as normal, all parks are closed… normal is something that seems far away right now. But I hope you all manage to have a good day and do your best this month too.

Things won’t magically be better even when the pandemic is fully over. There’s no fooling ourselves over hard times ahead. But you’re all tough cookies so please believe in yourselves, be kind to yourselves and to each other, we’ll come out of it alright in the end. 🍪💕

Yesterday I went out to get some basic necessities including all the food for my snails which will be here on Thursday. It was my first walk in like 3 months since I’ve been social isolating very intensely and plan on continuing doing so.

My bad knee was very stiff though so resuming regular walks might just be a necessity. Health wise, going from 10-13 miles a week to zero hasn’t done me any good. I didn’t cross paths with anyone outside of the store, so it might be doable. My mask is really big (though askew in this picture).
